A note went out to some of the corporate e-mail threads.
I've seen the demos and the system is pretty sweet.
I think it would have been a better idea to involve the front-end people at corporate when designing this system at the beginning. It's kinda like having the left hand not know what the right hand is doing. But, it's here now and we move on. Though questions about adapting and upgrading the blox system to become a front end replacement system too has been asked.
One major issue with it right now are the templates. Look at Portage and QC. Those templates are horrible. I can't believe our development team spent all this time and this is what they came up with.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-364275897268536829.post-77389518371040630122009-03-16T02:12:00.000-05:002009-03-16T02:12:00.000-05:00I've seen it in action, though we don't have it ye...I've seen it in action, though we don't have it yet. It's not that bad. *If* you know what you're doing, then it allows you to organize your content quicker and better. Smarter, too ... theoretically. It's a nice step, but hardly the drag-and-drop setup Web sites really ought to have.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-364275897268536829.post-76109422472012478472009-03-15T10:23:00.000-05:002009-03-15T10:23:00.000-05:00Portage, Wis., is on it already, I believe.
